Hello everyone!  My name is Sandra West and I am the Resource teacher here at Forbush Elementary.  I am thrilled to work in such a great school.  I have over 18 years experience working with elementary and middle school special education students. I attended UNC-Charlotte and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and later earned a license in Special Education.  I have a K-12 Cross Categorical license and have worked with students with all areas of disabilities.   In my classroom I use research based programs with my students in the area of reading, writing and math.  My goal is to create and foster a positive learning environment for your child.  I take pride in watching your child learn and grow.
